I like building stuff
I've loved taking things apart for as long as I can remember. At some point as a child my mom started bringing me to thrift stores so I'd stop dismantling the electronics in our house.
Over the years I've built a lot of things -- iPhone solar chargers, quad rotor drones, raspberry pi snow indicators, and vanagon electrical systems. I don't have any classical training in software development or computer science, but I'll do whatever it takes to build a working prototype.
Today I work on WholeCell and Newaya - two small companies that operate in the world of second-hand electronics.
